April, 21st 2017, Laser specialists, MBA Engineering Systems, have appointed Adam Ball as Commercial Director, joining the MBA team at the Wetherby HQ.
With the overwhelming popularity of the new range of Kimla Fibre lasers and the recent partnership with automation and storage giant, Remmert, MBA Engineering has bolstered its commercial department with the appointment of Adam as the new Commercial Director. Adam brings 23 years engineering experience in which 12 have been spent with Bystronic UK in various roles, ending as the sales support and applications manager.
MBA has seen significant changes since they started back in 2009. Originally a Bystronic service provider, MBA have evolved into the Fibre laser market with the unrivalled Kimla fibre and now a move into Automation with Remmert.
Adam has an eclectic background, spending 12 years as a weapons engineer in the British Army before making the move to Bystronic UK as a press brake engineer and then a further 7 years as Sales Support and Applications Manager. Finally, before joining MBA Adam worked with Lantek UK as a solutions manager providing software to laser users.
